A Dream - A Multi-genre EP

About the Project

I created this multi-genre EP with the intention of developing my skillset as a music producer. This includes my knowledge of genres, my location recording skills and workflow. I used a Zoom H6 I borrowed in SAE as a portable mixing desk when recording drums at MNK Studios.

This is an untypical, but versatile method with which I recorded various percussion elements. I used an M/S microphone capsule to capture the most realistic sound from the drummer’s perspective. The tracks are experimental, melodic and a fusion of acoustic and electronic instruments.
